08 June 20 - PAD mob against Samak Sundaravej and People Power Party
Thaksin's Return to Thailand
Today is another big day for the Thailand.
The political war between the in-parliament politicians and the off-parliament politicians are much worse than what everyone thought.
On 18th June 08, The People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) has set Friday as D-Day to hold a major rally at Government House in what it calls a make-or-break attempt to oust Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej and his cabinet.
PAD leader Sonthi Limthongkul announced last night that Friday was the day to ''demand the country back'' from those who corrupted and exploited it.
''On Friday June 20 at 1pm we will pack everything [to go to Government House]. And we won't give up until we win,'' he said.
His call was applauded by demonstrators who rallied on Ratchadamnoen Nok avenue near Government House.
But Chamlong Srimuang, another PAD leader, urged the demonstrators to protest in front of Government House and avoid entering the compound to cause damage inside because the PAD's goal was to see the end of the government.
The PAD, which started its current protests against the government on May 25, call Mr Samak and his People Power party nominees of Thaksin Shinawatra. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Economy's bad, and the GDP are lower than all other countries in South-East Asia (Except Myanmar).
Exporting are problem now due to the Thai/Baht exchange rate.
Oil price are rising to no end, thus increasing inflation rate to about 10% already.
We have a government known to be Thaksin's nominee. (I agree, it's too obvious)
However, that proofs that more than half of the citizens of Thailand prefers the People Power Party to be the government.
Now, a group of people who opposes the government decided to use the same trick, and start another dirty mob by paying 200 baht to persuade people to join their mob. (My friends was offered to about 500 baht to go for a mob in Bangkok)
The first mastermind in this mob would be the same old Sondhi Limthongkul:
And the second would be Chamlong Srimuang who had overthrown several government who are not in his side.
(Note: Chamlong's a good friend of a high ranking military officer who commands Thailand's Special Commando Force. That's why he could do as he wish.)
The PAD demands are:
- For the present Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej to step down regardless of the fact that he comes from the election.
- For the People Power Party to be dealt by the law. (For being Thaksin's nominee)
- For all of the ex-Thai Rak Thai politicians and corrupt officers to be dealt by law.
Today was the day for their move, and they've now seized the Parliament House.
However, there is no end to this unless these outlawed politicians' movements unless the government are their puppet.
Blame the uneducated Thai people who are willing to be a tool for a small fee.
Amazing Thailand indeed!
