There's have been a huge protest against the Thai Government.. The protest holds the Symbol Color of the Red Shirts. And is also known as, the exiled ex-Prime Minister Thaksin's Shinawatra's Supporter. These protesters demands the present government, Aphisit Vejajiwak to step down from being the Prime Minister. The protest had been going only for a only few weeks... but nonetheless, numerous of chaos spreads.. These includes bombings in several areas in Bangkok. Who were responsible for the chaos is unknown.. A few days ago, there was an order from the Prime Minister Aphisit to resolve the protest, even by force... Soldiers were dispatched to completely clear all the areas from the Red Shirt protesters.. Even if it means, by force... It was a counter measure after the Red Shirts had broken through various of Police Barricades to seize a few important Government Headquarters. This happened a few days ago. A Scout Helicopter Unit which was specifically assigned to scan any 'bombing' in Hat Yai, received a terrible remark from their superior for not being able to land properly after an early warning that the Helicopter's suffering from a major mechanical deficiency. The same Helicopter had been on patrol for months, after receiving warning that Hat Yai are under 'attack' by the terrorists group. I saw the same Helicopter on my way for work, and I usually spot the same copter during my stay at 'The Haven', it was at noon everyday. According to source, the Helicopter is a newly bought by the militant, and the cost is of course.. very expensive. The repair cost itself is estimated to be around 350,000 baht. So, good thing to hear, the pilots and 2 other officers were uninjured, but will probably suffer from the militant's law. If you're in Hat Yai, you probably can still see the Helicopter pass Big C. During the dispersal, police claimed that all they was using was Tear Gas , however.. There were some 'shotgun' like equipments on their back. Some said it was a Pressure Rubber Shotgun , some said it was a real Shotgun . During the dispersal, the police was 'thowing ' something ' on the protesters. PAD believes that it was a Grenade , while other facts said it might be a Tear Gas Grenade . Several days ago, the anti-government coalition had illegally seized the Parliament and blocked the path to several major roads in Bangkok . 2 days ago, the court had ordered a warrant of arrest on the 9 Leaders who are leading the anti-government coalition . After 2 days of mess, the PAD showed no sign of fear in the court's order, and had ordered the PAD 's volunteers to prevent the police from arresting them. This morning, after having enough patience to deal with the coalition, the police decided to open the road leading to the Parliament by force, injuring a numerous of protesters in the process. Angered by what the police did, the protester re-occupied the area , they rallied help from their men outside of Bangkok to: - Block the main road leading to the International Airport of Bangkok, Phuket, Krabi and Had Yai. - Protest discontinuing their work in the Train Station , thus, leading to a paralyze in various of transportation.
